Education
I took my elementary school at Palasio, less than 1 km from Pedevilla.
For the middle school (6th to 9th grade) I went to 'Scuola Media Cantonale, Giubiasco', located in Pedevilla (less than 5 minutes walk from my house).
My highschool education was focused on Scientific subjects, where as main courses I took Physics and Applied Math, I really love math.
My university studies were done in Lugano at USI at the Faculty of Informatics and my grad school was at UC San Diego in AI. For more details about my universities you could check my Resume (next tab on the menu).

Sport
I am playing rugby for 3 years. Right now I'm playing for the UCSD Rugby Team, I am the captain of the B-side and I scored a try against SDSU, the only try of my "rugby career". I used to play rugby in switzerland for Rugby Club Ticino for one year, where I learned how to play and appreciate the game.
Before playing rugby I cycled for Velo Club Arbedo-Castione for several years, and from the age of 19 to 21 I was the trainer of the little kids of the team. It was a wonderful experience teaching this amazing sport to the kids. I wasn't good at this sport but I had a lot of fun and helped me to grow up.
In my early years I played some soccer, floorball (uni-hockey) and I did some judo.
I am also a big fan of sports. My favorite team is AC Bellinzona, the team of the city where I grew up. My granfather took me to the matches when I was 6/7 years old, and the passion for this team will always be with me, even though right now i live 6000 miles (9000km) far from Switzerland. I followed most of the matches of this team, I travelled all around Switzerland and I went for a UEFA Cup game in Armenia to support this team.
I love almost all sports and right now I'm getting hooked up with (American) Football. The team that I follow the most is the San Diego Chargers.
